I am using these candy trays to hold cookie dough balls for freezing. Initially bought 10 to see if my idea would work, and it does! I used a 1" cookie dough scoop, rolled the dough and inserted them into the tray. I stacked two of them with wax paper to cover the dough, and added cardboard to prevent the dough and inserts from collapsing during the food saver process. This allows for very efficient storage in the freezer and easy transfer to cookie sheets when I am ready to bake.
