The perimeter of this full sheet cake board is protected with the same food safe grease-resistant gold foil that decorates the surface. The full wrap over the edges not only makes for a more elegant presentation of your cakes, but it also keeps frosting and crumbs out of the corrugated material that stiffens the cake board.

Full sheet cakes are heavy, so I usually tape two boards together. These double wall Corrugated foil covered cake boards are perfect.
